Redmi Note 11S is scheduled to launch in India on February 9th as the second Note 11-series offering. The handset is expected to arrive with quad-cameras on the back, led by a 108MP primary sensor. The company hasn't revealed the design of the phone via teaser images yet, except for the rear panel. Now, while we wait for the launch next month, the Redmi Note 11S price in India and full specifications have been leaked, courtesy of noted tipster Yogesh Brar. Interestingly, this leak reveals the handset will not be a 5G offering, which could be a deal-breaker for many.

Redmi Note 11S price in India

According to Brar, the Redmi Note 11S price in India will be Rs 1,000-2,000 higher than its predecessor, Redmi Note 10S. The latter is currently selling at Rs 14,999 for the 6GB + 64GB variant. This means we can expect the Redmi Note 11S price in India to be around Rs 16,000-17,000. We should know more details about the phone when it launches next month. According to the tipster, the Redmi Note 11S specifications will include a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and probably a punch-hole cutout. The device will be available in 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options. The storage could be further expandable via a microSD card. A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support fuels the phone.

The handset will reportedly be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC, which doesn't have 5G network support. Moving to optics, the Redmi phone will feature quad-cameras on the back, with a 108MP primary Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP Sony IMX3555 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors. It is said to have a 13MP selfie snapper on the front.

Software-wise, the Redmi Note 11S is likely to boot Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box. The handset should get MIUI 13 skin when it's rolled out.
